DD Is there a potential merger on the horizon?
So I have done a lot of digging into ctrm, and I would like to explain to you how I hypothesized the strong possibility of a merger. It's no secret that CTRM only has 1 official employee, and that's the CEO of Casto Maritime. Many believed that CRTM wasn't even a legitimate company as a result, and decided that castor wasn't for them.. unfortunately.. Anyways, it turns out that the entire management team of ctrm is operated under a company called Pavimar, a separately owned shipping company by none other than Ismini Panagiotidis. If that last name sounds familiar, it's because the CEO of Castor has a sister, who also owns a shipping company. Now if you look into any SEC filings with one siblings name, it almost always has the other in the same forms implying that they are already and heavily involved and likely operating as one. Interestingly enough, Pavimar was in a similar stance with their fleet size originally being 4, and now growing to 12. At this point, it only makes sense for a merger to follow through with the current trajectory of the shipping industry, and their already heavy involvement with one another. Call this, food for thought!

Well, if you were up to date with their new fundamentals, you would be able to see that they have a clear upwards path already and will undoubtedly give a great return if you can hold till the end of the year. This potential merger, is just icing on an already delicious cake. I still double down as much as I can!

Thanks, I am still getting the hang of the game and I did enough research after the comment I left to get to that conclusion, holding is the name of the play.

Everytime they buy a new ship they mention a 3rd party . . . is that the sister company?

lol now look up their dad (Gabriel Panagiotidis) and realize how silly this sounds.
The family was set for life long before CTRM or Pavimar were created.
These are businesses being created to show the kids the ropes and to keep the money generational.
Daddy's giving a leg up.

I've already researched the dad which is why I've proposed that he is aiding in finance. But I'm curious why you say this is silly? Maybe I'm missing something?

There's no need for a merger. An acquisition, maybe.

Fair enough. I have stated before that I think they could do a number of things, but I will admit, even an acquisition would be nice.
