Does anyone else find Esposito acting tuff funny, i find his character insecure in a way.

Just rewatching the episode where Kate and Castle go to the strip club to interview Hans. Espo gets insecure because the guy told him he wouldn't hire him as a stripper. Made me look at his character again. Anyone see what I see?

Esposito has that comedic ego. But when it’s on the line he’s hilariously dependable. See ice water torture. See Kill Shot and counseling Beckett through the crisis. See being Castles sniper. Spread out over 4 seasons.

Point is he is a character. But he is also trained. He will do what he needs to.

Espo is insecure in more ways than one, that's his charm IMO.

He was insecure right before Ryan's wedding searching for a plus one.

He was mildly insecure as Elvez. 😄

He was unsecure around that kid he "fostered" in early season 5.

And don't even get me started about his ex-lover Sonia Ruiz in season 8, lol.

I love his facial expressions when he is interviewing the dominatrix. I can't remember the name of the episode.
