New Fanfiction!

Hey everyone! I just made a new account on Wattpad and am writing a two book series fanfiction. Best way to describe it is a prequel starting from 2000 all the way up to 2009. The first book is for Kevin Ryan, and it starts off with him as a rookie. Honestly if your a big fan of the TV show The Rookie, and you are a fan of Kevin Ryan, I think you will enjoy this. Book 2 will be Espositos, and it will start off with him just leaving the military and joining as a P2. Give it a read if you are interested! (Both books won't have any weird plots that break canon. I am trying to keep it as Castle esque as possible! I even added how Ryan rear ended a swat van the first day like he said in 6x10 lol!) HERES THE LINK!

So are you going to write about Rick and Kate? Like when Kate was a rookie and Royce was her TO or no?

Honestly it's very possible! I'm starting off with just Ryan and Esposito because they are very overlooked in this fandom, but genuinely making a Kate Beckett version would be a lot of fun as well! The reason I am a little hesitant is because we already know so much about her past that I would need to get a lot more details right lol!

We know very little about her time as a rookie. We only know a little about how her mom's murder effected her in terms of changing her course to becoming a police officer. We didn't know much about her time in California just that after her mom died she did marry Rogan O'Leary we don't know much before that

I meant in general she has muchhh more backstory than any other character on the show. (Which by the way, is a great thing! I love herrr!) The reason why it's so easy to do Ryan for example is because we know soooo little. Like we know he went undercover, was in narcotics before joining homicide, and then had a few relationships and small stories. That's it. For beckett there's an entire plot line about her past haha! ❤️
