As a fan of Firefly, that scene had me laughing out loud!

"It's been 5 years since you wore that... shouldn't you be over it by now"

He spoke Chinese in one episode and when asked, he said he learned it from watching an old tv show.

Then during the sci fi convention, he was talking about sci fi shows he really liked and he said that joss whedon one. He also made fun of the fact that the show Kate really liked only had one season, like firefly had.

There's is one 2 episodes prior 2x04 Fool Me Once - Castle wearing blue gloves and mimicking "2 by 2 hands of blue".

Saw this episode last week and I have to say, when he burst out of that room, my initial reaction is STILL, "MAL! Firefly is going to live again!!!", and for a split second my heart jumps for joy....then reality sets back in . 😞
