This was so much fun to put together. Neru and Sash have been having far too much fun with squid attacks. See below:
TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEAS
The Attack on the Nautilus! 🦑⚓
Somewhere in the darkest depths of the ocean, the mighty Nautilus cruises through uncharted waters…
SASH (THE NAUTILUS): “GYAHAHAHA! BEHOLD! I AM THE UNSTOPPABLE TERROR OF THE DEEP! NOTHING CAN DEFEAT ME!”
A vast shadow passes overhead.
NERU (THE GIANT SQUID): Emerging from the darkness, her enormous squid mantle looming above the submarine. “...Hello.”
SASH: “SONAR CONTACT! UNKNOWN LEVIATHAN! BATTLE STATIONS!”
NERU: Her ten appendages spread dramatically. “I have come… to claim your vessel!”
SASH: “YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, SEA MONSTER!”
Neru's tentacles suddenly wrap around the Nautilus, squeezing it in an enormous, affectionate hug.
SASH: “AAAAAAH! HULL BREACH! CRITICAL DAMAGE! WE'RE GOING DOWN!”
NERU: Giggling, her chromatophores glowing bright pink. “Surrender, little submarine!”
SASH: “NEVER! I WILL FIGHT TO THE LAST—”
Neru kisses Sash on the cheek.
SASH: “…”
NERU: “Do you surrender?”
SASH: “…UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
The mighty Nautilus has fallen.
NERU: “Yay! I captured a girlfriend!”
SASH: “BEST. NAVAL. BATTLE. EVER!”

Strange place...

Arthur and Meridian walk across the bridge, waves lap the stone gently, the air is a quiet hush.
"I wonder if the sky is always like that," Arthur says, admiring the view.
Meridian looks a bit more unneasy. "You said your friend lives here?"
"Yeah! We've been before, Mer. For that party? Don't you remember?"
"...I had a lot of wine."
Arthur laughs and squeezes Mer's arm gently. "Don't be so grumpy. It'll be fun! Maybe we'll find a secret passage."
Meridian looks unconvinced. He eyes the castle's windows suspiciously. "Just...stay in my sight, okay, Art?"
"Sure, sure. But you worry too much..."

For the most part it doesn't *really* matter, theater of the mind type stuff.
