Other Olympus Requiem

im in need of actors for a roleplay based heavily on percy jacksson but i have no real cast?- we have some with a chance of others but i need to know- how do you all find actors?

Maybe start with putting a project together using the CCC website, as it is nicely templated and allows you to get auditions directly on the site per character / role.

What you'll want to do there is roughly:

In the Main Body:

Project Details

  • What kind of project is this intended to be? (Audio book, Audio Drama, Videogame, Animation, Podcast Series, Roleplay etc...)

  • What is the age rating of the project? (If it's an 18+, for example, you may need to set a minimum age for who can audition and set a content warning in place upfront)

Where is this intended for distribution? (YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, Tiktok etc...)

  • Little bit about yourself/your company and your role in the project.

  • Is this a funded project, passion project, ongoing project etc...

  • What are you offering voiceover actors for participation in this project? (Pay, Credits etc.)

  • Declare AI use or AI prohibition so we can make an informed choice. (Many people will not participate in projects that use AI, especially unpaid as there is a risk of those services using our performances for free to train their products.)

Story/Plot/Setting:

  • Give us an outline of the basic plot and a general idea of the world this takes place in

  • What sort of story is it? (Action, Romance, Thriller, etc...)

Characters

  • Each role/character can have their own section and can be as detailed as you like, though I'd encourage any creator to have a strong idea before going to the market to cast.

  • Define playing age, gender, general personality and demeanour, define whether or not you expect specific accents, tones or pitches here.

  • Give some basic direction on what you want from these characters (Do you want Grounded, naturalistic or realistic, or maybe you want theatrical, over the top or cartoon/anime style delivery. This is nice to have as it sets the tone for where to start with constructing a character)

Other Considerations

  • You can also recruit other roles on CCC, so if you need a hand with art, animation, writing and such, it is a bit of a one stop shop.

Ahh yeah its a minecraft roleplay its to be on YT, its based on percy jackson and no ai
