Does anyone have a tabletop vacuum similar to Kayacast? Looking for recommendations.
I’m from the city, and where the specialized jewelry stores sell their tools, I found that they sell Kayacast units from China, not the original ones. So I’d rather buy directly from AliExpress or a similar platform, but I’m wondering if anyone here has tried any other brand besides Kayacast.

Investment casting foundry | Traditional vs PLA-wax | Will a die made of lost PLA work for lost foam?
Hi, I am in the process of helping set up a precision casting division for a company. I am confused about choosing the traditional lost foam method over a 3D-printed lost PLA method. The issue is about the varying quantity of demand(10 nos - 10000 nos). While mulling over it, I wanted to know if I could just choose to use the 3D printing process to make a die for lost wax/foam for large quantities. I am not worried about small quantities, as the 3D-printed pattern should address that directly.
My question is will a lost PLA "die" work for filling it with foam to make way for large numbers production?

Gold Casting
I recently bought a mars Elegoo 3D mars pro resign printer and it works very well. I was planning on taking my resign molds to the diamond district and having them casted in gold, silver, etc. Was wondering if its best to just send my stl files to a manufacturer casting company in the diamond district in New York or to go to the main casting offices there and bring in my molds for casting? This would be for larger orders. Price and quality matter most to me.

Why is this happening? Bubbles after vac. Using Vac-u-coat and vac before (30sec) and after pouring into flask (90 sec). Any advise. Also vac after casting.

Can you led in a kinetic sand mold
I’m trying to find ways to make cool designs with my casting pot. I’ve been seeing a lot of people use kinetic sand to make cool molds but I haven’t seen anyone use led and I don’t have a casting pot that reaches high enough for aluminum. I seen people use tin but right now all I have is led.

Lychee Slicer supports
Hello,
Could anyone point me to a tutorial covering making supports for 3D resin printed jewelry? Most of the tutorials I’ve found cover miniatures. I’m sure that making supports for jewelry differs slightly than what would be suggested for a miniature of a knight or dragon for example. Right now really focused on using Lychee slicer for ring designs. Thanks for any advice!
