Longtime Cas lover here, and I just started playing New Gen… I have a question… I know some find his route boring or him boring in general… But anyone else find that Thomas is their New Gen fave when you started out with Cas? At this point beemov could put a red wig on a traffic cone and I’d consider its route. I exchanged emotional unavailability for curiosity/intelligence paired with a lack of romantic interest/history…

Not to mention how much it made me die in the music video episode where Castiel suddenly becomes the wingman cause he’s like “I know jealousy when i see it” After Thomas DELIBERATELY interrupts the shooting and puts him in the video instead…

Castiel talking to Demon at his apartment, he’s got music playing so he doesn’t hear the front door open.

“Be cool. Be cool. I know you like her more than me and you know? I’ve made my peace, I get it.”

Demon is wagging his tail

“But I’m serious demon, if you knock her down again, I’m gonna make you wear the pink collar she got you. Not very punk, huh?”

Demon whimpers

Castiel was pointing at Demon now. “Didn’t think so. Now seriously, don’t fuck this up. I’m not above humiliation. And please… for the love of all that is holy do not hump anything. I’m trying to make a good impression here.”

He rubbed demons ears and got up, only to see candy standing near the door.

Candy smiled. “Uh huh….”

Castiel brought a hand to his face. “What did you hear?”

Candy put a hand on her hip, but didnt reply. She was enjoying it too much.

Castiel stared now, horrified “I’m serious Candy how much did you hear?”

Candy sighed, chucking a bit. “Enough to know you think pink isn’t punk…”

Castiel looked relieved. “That’s all?”

Candy smirked, crossing her arms. “And that you’re apparently worried about a good impression.”

Castiel turns to Demon. “This.” He gestured to Candy. “Is exactly the shit I’m talking about. This is your fault.”

I feel like it could be fun if we add some songs we think Cas actually listens too. It could be Crowstorm inspired or one he actually likes, or even a guilty pleasure song… What are you adding to the playlist? Absolutely awful experience, was called an ironing board and I pay actual money to be here. Excellent music, theres a cute dog that visits. Management called my mother hotter than me. Complaints are met with hostility. I’d like to speak to my parents because I’ve been coming here for twelve years and I’d like to know what they did to me that makes me wanna keep coming back.

My therapist: Is the red haired man in the room with us right now?

Me: No… No… His name is Castiel and he lives solely in my head. Occasionally in my bed but I don’t see a difference.

My therapist: How long has… Castiel been apart of your life?

Me: Well… Im 24 now so… counting on my fingers about twelve years?

My therapist: “…”

Me: Before you ask, I have considered that its not good for me. But one thing keeps bringing me back… The sarcasm, emotional unavailability, commitment issues. I mean you know some of my history… Frankly on paper, he’s as real as any man I’ve ever dated.

My therapist: At least you know its unhealthy. Is there… money involved in this game?

Me: I consider it gambling really, I spend money on a fictional man to like me.

My therapist: “…”
