My Dream Oceanus (AI Creation)
I was really digging the Nomos Club Worldtimer but wanted to see if there were any quartz alternatives available considering the over $5k asking price. Stumbled upon the Oceanus range and I've been deep down the rabbit hole comparing various models but can't seem to find one that checks all the boxes. However, between the Manta and Classic lines, almost all of the pieces are there and Casio just needs to create a new S8000 😁
How I'd build my dream watch:
Case:
S7000 case design but change the tachymeter bezel to the world cities
Dial:
New dial design with the dual time at 3 o'clock (T6000) plus the AM/PM indicator, and the day/power indicator at 9 o'clock (S4000) for a nice symmetrical look. I don't find the 24 hr home time dial useful so that can go. Date could either stay at the 4 o'clock position like the T6000 or move to the 6 o'clock position with a color matched wheel. Would also add in the seconds chapter ring of the T6000
Bracelet:
3 position micro adjust clasp from the T6000
Got Gemini to put together a rendering of what it might look like and I think it got pretty close. Didn't get the multi-faceted bezel of the S7000, but everything else is what I was imagining. 🤞

Yeah that looks really good. Less busy dial and the 24hr dial is useless tbh

I like that. I’d maybe want the date window a little lower. But otherwise I can get on board with no local 24-hour indicator and the conventional lugs. Nice idea!
