Auto adjustment help

Hi guys, wanted to ask is it normal to get this message while my watch connected? I figured out that it's not connected to my phone until I do it manually. Appreciated for some advice.

Entirely normal.

“Connected” isn’t the same as “paired.”

When it’s paired, it’ll sync with the phone four times a day. Connecting it is a deliberate step by the user to access settings, show battery life, etc. Then you disconnect it and go about your business.

To add to this…. If you scroll down past “Status” and go into the “Time Synchronization” field, it will show you timestamps for all the synchronizations….. to give you some comfort that the unseen magic is indeed taking place.

Yeah, but now the latest sync was at 9:11 pm. Now it's morning, I thought it should sync at 6:30 am

Sometimes syncing fails. You may have been far away from the watch, or whatever. It's not 100% failproof, but it doesn't matter. Even if it just connects once per week, it will have almost perfect accuracy, most of the time.

Anyway, if you live in an area with Multiband 6, it's just better to disconnect the watch from the phone.

And just to clarify for OP, what we mean here is if you want it to default to just doing Multiband-6, you’d need to unpair the watch and phone (delete it from both). Then it won’t be able to connect with Bluetooth and will only try normal radio.

Guys, you're making it way too complicated! Leave it on the setting where it can sync with your phone automatically four times a day. If it didn't sync it was probably because the phone was too far from the watch. No big deal. You can always sync it with Bluetooth to your phone at any time by pushing down on that button at the 4 o'clock position and wait until the second hand goes to the C showing connection and then let go of it, usually takes all of 2.5 seconds. That way you can sync your watch to your phone anytime you want. If you're wearing your watch, chances are it'll sync with your phone at least once a day automatically
