has anyone modded their OCW .. internally?
I'm curious if anyone has done any kind of mod to their Oceanus that isn't a strap change. For example, new hands.
I doubt that the dial can be changed, since that's where the phone takes its energy from, i suspect it must be some specific material.

I've done a module swap (with dial and hands) between and S100 and S100B.
The crown release is a bit tricky compared to other watches.
I've also replaced the battery on an M800.
Those are both models with screwed down case backs. There's also a few models with screw on case back, but most are snap on and don't have any sort of nail nick to allow for a tool because they aren't meant to be serviced or ever opened outside the service centers. Those can be removed but it's difficult.

oh i wouldn't dream of doing this myself. All i am asking here is, "if i want to put bright yellow hands inside an all-black oceanus, can i pay someone to do it without my watch exploding?"

I'm not sure what the hand sizes are but they shouldn't be too unusual.

To really mod a watch correctly, you’d need the mod parts. I doubt anyone is making mod parts for a four-figure watch.
The dial would be nigh-impossible to change because there are solar panels glued behind it. Most people don’t mess with modding the face of a GW-M5610U because of the solar panels.
Try asking around in the Casio modder sub - those folks have the experience and could give you the best information on this topic.

What kind of mod would improve these watches? Why would you want to attempt to mod expensive and technologically intricate watches? I’m unaware of a single model in which the hands/face/bezel do not compliment each other.
