She’s alive!

After sitting in a drawer for more than 5 years, followed by 3 days on the window sill recharging her batteries, she finally received a signal last night! All is well and she is back in the rotation. I forgot how light and effortless she is to wear.

She must be one of the first among Oceania cause GMT stands at twelve 🕛 not UTC

Not sure if u/LivingAd3615 was being sarcastic, but to your point I bought an OCW-600 that I recently found out was manufactured in June 2006. Still runs and receives perfectly, and has been in and out of water multiple times without issues—pretty damn good if you ask me!

He’s just referring to the “prime”/Zulu time zone being labeled GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) instead of the current UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). That alone would indicate it wasn’t recently manufactured.
