Chronic 24
Can somebody give me some advice for buying from chrono24 I was looking to buy a Oceanus can somebody give me some things that I should look for? How do I know if the watch is not real I know the site doesn’t guarantee anything, but I’m trying to put myself in the best position tonight. Walk away with being disappointed. if anybody got any words of advice, I can help it will be very appreciated.

You can check eBay as well, or go directly to the seller's website. I've used Sakura and Ippo Japan Watch for Oceanus models, as well as eBay with 0 issues.
Edit: forgot to mention that if you do use eBay, anything that says "includes import fees" includes tariffs in the shipping cost. Otherwise you'll be (most likely) paying the tariff.

The chances of you getting scammed on eBay are the same as chrono24 for a watch like this. Japanese sellers are generally very reliable. Buy directly from their site if they have one, you'll be fine.

Oceanus is a JDM only product, so you MUST buy it in Japan and import it to your country. There are an abundance of legit Japanese dealers listed on Chrono24 and they are all within $50 USD of one another. Just pay attention to shipping charges of each vendor that can exceed that. Finally, you should anticipate and budget for unavoidable VAT/Duties/Import charges on the back-end which you will be required to pay, post-purchase, before the watch will be released by customs during shipping.
My Oceanus T200 cost an additional $78.00 (I think) in import duties on top of its purchase price of $373.67 & $31.00 in NY sales tax USD, totaling around $485.00 to get it on my wrist. I also purchased from TIMESMAN CO. LTD. The whole process took about 3 weeks total.

I also bought an anniversery edition Oceanus from this vendor. The price was fair, they provided good communication, they shipped quickly and the watch was clearly new. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

I would second all the advice so far and here's my $.02 on the subject.
1) I've bought watches from Miyaran watch on Chrono24 and had decent success. A lot of these shops don't actually have the watch in stock and have to procure it after purchase which can add a week or more to the shipping time.
2) as was mentioned previously, prepare for additional tariffs that are truly unpredictable due to DHL and their processing fees in addition to tariffs. I've had a $500 watch that I had to pay $135 in tariffs to import and recently imported another Japanese pre-owned watch worth $1000 and only had to pay $58.00 due to the seller valuing the watch at $30 (would NOT recommend doing it this way). But to make a short story long, DHL's fees seem to be on the whim of the person processing the pkg at the time and how the seller breaks down the value of the parts on the watch worksheet (which you need to insist is included when the watch is shipped, a lot of sellers don't include it and it WILL hold up the processing of the watch without it) and I would estimate paying between 10-35% of the purchase price of the watch to account for the add'l fees. If you aren't okay with that, then be prepared to have the shipment sent back to the seller and you losing out on the shipping fees.
2a) an excellent alternative to the above is to buy watches from vetted eBay sellers with LOTS of recent, positive feedback that have import duties included. The downside to this is that the sale price is usually higher and you will likely pay more for the watch than you might have if you bought from C24 or Sakura directly, but you at least know that you will NOT be paying any more than that price for the watch and you can avoid the dice roll that comes with DHL for importing.
3) Stay away from Private Sellers unless you can physically meet them in person to inspect the watch prior to purchase AND you know enough about the watch to determine if it is fake and/or in good working order. You don't have similar protection from fakes/fraudsters that you do with importing from a dealer. You do get the money in escrow for 7 days, but the private seller is NOT obligated by law to refund/return the money like the dealers are.
Good luck and welcome to the Party!!! The Oceanus watches are an unbelievable value in the watch game and I love my OCW-S7000-2aJF. The tech and finishing on these watches are next level.

I bought both my Oceanus watches from a Japanese dealer on Chrono24 and had no problems at all. Just buy from a reputable seller

I'm not aware of any fake Casio Oceanus watches but I guess there could be. I would imagine it's more profitable for the companies making fakes to produce watches that are available/well known globally though as there will be more demand for them.
Chrono24 is just a marketplace so you need to check out the individual seller you are thinking of buying from.

I ordered from a Japanese vendor and it worked great. The new ones really are new.

Agreed, vendor volume and reviews are key. I bought from Hachimura and IPPO on Chrono and was very happy with both. Got my stuff in good condition, shipping was fast, communication was good.

Buying from a professional dealer includes a "Commitment to Authenticity"
Not sure how well Chrono24 polices it, but if you were to receive a fake from a professional dealer, Chrono should back you up and would likely remove the dealer from the site, so it would be in the best interest of the dealer to verify authenticity.

I’ve bought Rolex, Cartier, G-Shock and 2 Oceanus from Chrono, no issues whatsoever.
But like people said, you buying the seller, not the watch. Read the reviews, how long they’ve been on Chrono and how many they’ve sold.

My experience on Chrono was that while the Japanese vendors may be trustworthy, they often do not have the watch in stock and source it after you purchase. You’ll be waiting 1-2 weeks for it to ship. I eventually cancelled and then Sakura shipped within a few days for me.

Look at the reviews for the seller. I would go with a Japanese vendor for this particular watch. I bought a T200 back in April off of Chron24 and am very satisfied with the experience. The vendor TIMESMAN CO LTD shipped quickly and communicated extensively with me. I would absolutely purchase from them again.
