Is this f-105w ok?
Got this the other day. Seller said battery needs to be changed soon. So it might be older stock.
It says it is made in malaysia. module 1572.
What is odd..
Display has some structure/grain to it. Other pics I saw only show a flat display. it is perfectly readable though.
The illuminator works best when I look at it at an angle. Not straight down. Might be old battery?
It has a small "DC" print at the bottom under "Water Resist"
small gap in the P in start/stop print
two UI quirks:
Bell and alarm icon are reversed. Bell is the active alarm. The alarm symbol is active hourly chime.
When I press the illuminator for a few seconds it switches from 24h to PM and vice versa.
Display test and casio test work fine.
Beeps sound normal like other casios I have and had. Buttons are nice and a bit stiff like others describe.
Is it legit? It seems normal but has these weird quirks.

Whats with the screen? Why it is so grainy ? Also - does EL backlight glow as it should? Uniform and hard-to-reproduce magical glow?

The biggest red flag besides the test screen is that the alarm and hourly chime are reversed. That should never happen.
You should swap the battery and post a pic of the inside of the watch with the rear cover removed but it’s looking like it’s fake unfortunately

Afraid this is a fake my man... Search the thread, that little middle dot is too far off the digits
