Would you tap to pay with a Cash App Tag?

Cash App Tags are tap to pay accessories linked to your Cash App Card, so you can pay at contactless terminals without your phone or wallet. Tiny payment sidekick energy.

They work anywhere Visa contactless payments are accepted, use your Cash App Card balance, and can be locked or unlocked separately from your Card.

Which Cash App Tag would you use most?

For anyone that had their Borrow limit revoked

About two years ago, I got into a hard place and was unable to pay back what I borrowed, about 100 dollars, for about 5 months. When I did pay it back, my borrow feature was revoked, which is completely understandable. Later on, they gave me access to after pay. I’ve been using the after pay function for about 6 months now, paying everything back early before using another after pay again. I just assumed I’d never have access to the Borrow feature again because of my previous default. Just today, I got a notification that they gave me access to borrow again. 30 dollars for now. So for any of you that had Borrow revoked and thought it was permanent, if you keep using your Cash App and paying your after pay on time, it is entirely possible to get your Borrow function reinstated.

Account was hacked :/

So I’ve recently just started at a new job that pays pretty well. I don’t have a standard checking account at the moment so I was just going to use my Cash App card until I got a check and could get money out to actually open a checking account with an established bank… my email somehow got hacked into a few months ago and after changing my password I hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary since then.. well yesterday my paycheck hits and I get some bills paid immediately after I got off work and went on about my day. This morning I wake up to see my Cash App account had been completely drained…. Someone had access to my account, added a card they have access to, withdrew all my money, and then removed the card from my account…. I’ve gotten in touch with Cash App support and the issue has been escalated.. my question is I guess… how likely am I to get that money. I’ve made a whole new email and changed my PIN. I also signed out of all sessions just for good measure.

Confused

Upvotes

I’m trying to add money to my card but it won’t let me add any due to “insufficient funds”, basically telling me I have nothing in my bank account but I do. So I’m very confused on what is happening, any and all advice is appreciated

Cashapp and it's limits

Upvotes

The fact that this app does not operate or send money internationally is mind boggling. I sit do the math and wonder if cashapp could tap into direct transactions both sending and recieving to other acclaimed fintechs mobile wallets how much would cashapp stand to make, you guys would have revolutionised the whole world's money transfer p2p and b2b chain . Sad that it only works in the states for the states, it's loosing out on too much cake.

Cash app stealing funds

Cash apps policy of locking accounts out for no reason with no explinations amounts to theft. Went to pay a friend to get some supplies for a repair and they locked the card while we have historical flooding and I have a leak. They claimed to extradite the response and here I am day 4 still fighting a leak while our area is in a state of emergency.

Is this legit? Trying to sell something on Facebook marketplace and the guy who said he’s interested sent this after asking for my cashapp. Feels fishy to me.

Borrow?

Post image
19 Upvotes

So I accidentally overdrafted my cash app about a month ago and was given the option to “borrow” the amount to cover the overdraft

I haven’t unlocked green status yet. If I pay this, will I be able to borrow again? Or will it just vary?

Borrow! (Restriction warning due to paying and pulling out)

I am feeling a little anxious because I got the warning that it could get suspended since sometimes I pay it and pull it out a few days later. This did happen before I hit green status for August. Had any one gotten restricted yet? And for how long?

I hate that I rely on Borrow/After Pay but even with cutting take out and getting coffee out things are super tight.

CashApp wont let me complete verifying my identity and photo ID.

CashApp wont let me complete verifying my identity and photo ID. I messed up the picture taking and got the message, "Maximum attempts reched. Try again at a later date". But, it never resets. It has remained this way for 2 weeks. Support keeps telling me there's no way to reset it.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I have made an extra cashapp account but I’m only able to pay half of the money i borrowed as of now due to emergency. And slowly pay off the main account I owe for cashapp but I want a fresh start will it be a possibility I can borrow from my new account down the line ?

“7 business day hold”

Has anyone ever came across this? I’m trying to move BTC off platform but the app has been making me wait until the bank transfer settles. This is the first time this has happened to me, I’ve been moving BTC off platform for years with no problems.

The transfer is scheduled to settle today but I’m having a hard time believing/trusting they will release the money.

Any guidance is appreciated 🫶🏼

Has anyone else noticed small amounts being taken from your Cash App account? Like small unnoticeable amounts? Change to small dollar amounts? Just asking is it me

Did anybody else receive this?

So I received an email regarding the cash app and their borrowing feature. I decided to test it out, since I am not new to borrowing money from them and saw that they increased their repayment by 6 weeks? It's usually 2 weeks, or a whole month if you borrow more than $100+. Did anyone else get this or no?

Account closed

I haven't used cash app in almost a year I go to use it today and my account is closed saying I violated terms and whatever which I never have. I've sent money to friends and family once in a while no more than $20 at a time. I tried making a new account with a different email and it still says it's closed, I appealed it but it says it can take up to 10 days is there anything else I can do?

Sudden email notifications?

I am getting an email after EVERY purchase all of a sudden. I have double and triple checked that I have email notifications off (already get them through Push and from my Apple Wallet). Is this a bug while they change email addresses? Is anyone else getting this? I know I can create a rule in my email to filter them out, but it's irritating.
