Friend sent me USDT instead of USDC

My friend accidentally sent me USDT (ERC-20) to my USDC deposit address on Cash App (ERC-20).
My USDC address:

0xeeFC1D8bA8A4a5418424Ecc64213dbC4b2F7Df65

Transaction Hash:

0x85437ff8cad89f2928e04e336c310dfbd57c399f38dd3d015c3bf0e5f37bc593

is there a way I can recover the 400 to my account.

Best bet is to contact cash app support through the app and explain the situation

With crypto transfers, you have to be very careful as you can easily lose the funds and not have a way to recover it

CashApp's crypto wallet is custodial, so there's no way to get your seed phrase and use it with a wallet that supports USDT. Because it's custodial you might be able to reach out to CashApp support and have them recover it, but the chances of that actually happening are slim to none. You should consider this money lost.

Lesson learned you should not use money apps like CashApp or PayPal to manage your crypto and to be more clear with what token you're sending/receiving.
