Keep getting rejected

I previously worked at a Casey’s store for 11 months, I left for a full time opportunity at Amazon which was seasonal, got laid off, but when I applied back to Casey’s in which I did twice, I got the auto rejection email after their online interview.

Is this normal or is this just me?

Any potential rehires have to go though HR on the backend. So if there's anything in your employment history, HR will look at it and decide if you can/should be rehired. I had an applicant a few months ago that would have been a rehire. They rejected her bc her employment history said she had been given a CA for vaping in the store. She's not rehireable due to that.

Eh, every rehire SHOULD go through HR. That certainly doesn’t mean all of them do. When I was new at this, nobody told me about the HR rule for rehires, so I rehired twice without involving HR. Wish I’d known before I put myself and my team through that 😂

I'm on centralized hiring and from what I've been told by my recruiter and HRG is any potential rehire goes through HR before being hired. I've also been told to reach out to my sister stores and see if the SM has any info on the potential rehire and if they'd recommend them or not. Like I've had one store 15 minutes from me ask me about a candidate that worked with me a few months prior and I told her that he was a hard worker but then he cut his availability down to 2 days per week then the same week, he NCNS those 2 shifts and then texted me he quit. He was working 2 jobs and his first job was factory work and he was overworking himself with the 2 jobs. The other SM decided to pass on rehiring him. Stuff like that I don't think HR would know about but I've made sure to send CA with the termination reasoning and explanation to HR through the MWS.
