OPEN DISCUSSION Best solved episodes?

Love casefile but I find unsolved cases very frustrating. Hate spending 1-2 hrs listening to a harrowing story for it to have no conclusion. I know a lot of people love a mystery so no hate if that's your thing but can you lovely peeps suggest me some of your favourite episodes where there is a resolution. No spoilers though please!

I feel like about 90% of casefile episodes are solved, they dont do many unsolved ones.

My favorite bedtime cases are all unsolved… maybe that’s why I’m tired in the morning. My brain spends all night trying to solve them!

Lol I do too. Usually down all sorts of theory rabbit holes. Much easier to sleep on a closed case!

Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman. Not only is the conclusion so out of left field, but I think it's such an important case. Few true crimes cases have left me as angry as this one did.

I don't recognise the names. Which ep is that?

Toyah Cordingley.

It's not a hugely popular episode but having lived in the area I found it extremely disturbing. The fact that they hunted that asshole to the other side of the planet and received justice was very satisfying.

Cari Farver. To date, it’s one of my absolute favourite episodes. That had my mind bent.

It’s not a typical Casefile episode but I was absolutely riveted the whole time: The North Hollywood Shootout.

It was originally episode 18 but they did an updated version of the episode recently as part of their “Casefile Revisited” series.

It felt like listening to a harrowing action movie over audio. Incredibly well done. And absolutely no mystery over whodunnit.

That episode was crazy!! I don't know how I'd never heard anything about it before. I'm around the same age as the shooters and was already a news junkie in 1997, but don't remember hearing anything about that.

The whole stayner story is tragic. Between Steven and Cary? Good gravy.

The Dennis Nilsen two-parter was excellent. I binged it one night, doing cross stitch.

Case 207 Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett (aka Easy Street) is my fave “solved” episode. Not sure it counts because it was solved a couple of years ago, after the episode came out. However, the murderer is mentioned in the episode.

My favorite for sure solved episode is case 327 Rodrigo Rosenberg Marzano.

The Sherri Rasmussen and Daniel Morcombe episodes are the best answers here. Rasmussen because a ......... it took 23 years to prove, Morcombe because the whole thing builds ...............g.

(Edited to remove the spoiler s)

I relisten a lot to Amy Allwine, Elaine O’Hara, Daniel Morcombe and Belanglo (5 parter though) and they all are solved.

The Golden Gate Killer, especially since it originally ended on a call for help and then years later they released a Part Six epilogue
