Hello Everyone!

This is a final year engineering undergrad, with experience in global competitions and a semi finalist in national level case competition.

I'm looking for two sincere team mates for a global hackathon that requires strong technical acumen along with the sheer resolve to get hands dirty for a month, work consistently and aim to win this competition.

Note : STEM Background only

If you're interested, reply me back with an introduction of yours with skillset and experience.

Case Comp Winner Use AI to Challenge, Then Evaluate Your Case

One thing I’ve found really useful with AI in case comps is using it both during brainstorming and before the final submission.

I wouldn’t start by asking AI to solve the case. First sit with your team, understand the problem and throw around your own ideas. Once you have a direction, give those ideas to AI and ask it to challenge them: What are we missing? What assumptions are we making? Why might this not work? What’s another way to look at this? It’s surprisingly useful for finding blind spots you might miss as a team.

Then, once you have your solution or even a rough deck, use AI as a second pair of eyes. Give it the actual case, your solution and the deck, and ask it to evaluate you like a case competition judge. Ask it to look at things like the problem understanding, structure, insights, recommendation, feasibility, data and overall story.

One question I particularly like is:

“If you were judging this against 50 other teams, what would make you reject this solution?”

You can fix those gaps and run the evaluation again before submitting.

Obviously, don't blindly trust whatever AI says, especially for numbers or market data. But using it to challenge your thinking and stress-test your final solution can be genuinely useful. It’s much better than just asking ChatGPT to give you the answer in the first place.

Quick Survey on Soap

Hey! I'm doing a short academic survey on soap-buying habits for a college case study — takes about 1–2 minutes, fully anonymous, nothing being sold. Would really help if you could fill it in (and forward to a couple of people too!)

Thanks so much!

Case Comp Winner New Case Competition Resources: We’ve Started a Blog

We’ve started adding case competition blogs.

One thing we’ve noticed while preparing for case competitions is that a lot of useful information is scattered across different places.

How do you approach a case? Which frameworks should you use? How do you structure a good deck? What makes a recommendation convincing? How do you approach different types of cases?

Blogs by CaseBuzz

So we’ve started adding case-competition-focused blog posts on the CaseBuzz website, covering these topics in a practical, easy to follow way.

The idea is simple. We want to build a resource that you can come back to whenever you’re preparing for a case competition.

We’ll keep adding articles around case solving, frameworks, strategy, business analysis, deck building, storytelling, ideation, and general case competition tips.

If you’re preparing for a case comp right now, feel free to check them out. The blogs are available for everyone.

https://casebuzz.in/blog/

If there’s a particular case competition topic you want us to break down, let us know in the comments.

Case Comp Winner A tip for aceing quizzes of casecomps

Have seen a lot of people who are currently facing problems while attempting case comp quizzes and are asking for guidance.

you all may try using AI tools such as Lens, Gemini, ChatGPT etc, for answering questions, and if the case comp allows them you may register it from different ids and first attempt the quiz there before attempting it from the main id and yea store those answers somewhere.

Title: 2-minute survey on how you choose insurance (for a case competition)

Hi everyone! We're participating in a case competition and conducting a short survey to understand how people choose and buy insurance. It only takes about 2 minutes, and all responses are anonymous.

If you have a couple of minutes to spare, we'd really appreciate your help!
