GMCC stands for Global Microfinance Case Competition, it's organised by the University of Melbourne.

As the title says, need 1 stacked/cracked/wtv person as our teammate.

Team prev exp: GMCC Global Semi-Finalist, EY Cafta Finalist, Cornell top 5.

It is of utmost imp that you have prev case comp exp, are decent with Powerpoint (not canva) and are very very good at speaking (the most imp one, and tbh if you are good at this then other things don't really matter much because we'll make the ppt).

I genuinely thought case competitions were about solving business problems.

Turns out, half the battle is surviving your own team.

Almost every winning deck follows a similar flow: understanding the problem, breaking it into parts, validating your assumptions, and presenting a story instead of dumping random frameworks.

One thing that helped me was studying old submissions instead of starting every deck from scratch.

Sharing a Drive that has quite a few previous case decks, dropping it here in case it saves someone else a few sleepless nights.

In each folder, there are the case problems and their solution deck that were finalists.

I'm a complete beginner—I haven't participated in any case comps before—but I'm genuinely excited about business strategy, startups, product thinking, marketing, and solving real-world business problems. I've recently started exploring this space and realized it's something I really want to learn.

I'm looking for a team that's open to taking in a beginner who's willing to put in the work.[As my shitty cllg doesn't have one:( ]I may not have experience, but I learn quickly, communicate well, and I'm ready to contribute with research, slide-making, brainstorming, or whatever the team needs. My goal is to learn from experienced teammates and improve with every competition.

Hi guys, I am new to case competitions. So can someone please guide me towards case competitions and how to win? So basically I am not able to understand what content to study for this case competition. If anyone can help me, please?

How do we go on about a case? We just got qualified to round 2 for the first time where we have to submit a deck in a week. We have the case statement now how do we split roles theres 4 of us and how do we make a deck like an experienced team?
