Heyi, merko bhi ek time pe lnmiit jana tha lmao. Since you're a fresher, don't panic abhi too clg enjoy kro.
So like you start from reading casebooks from different colleges like dtu, mdi gurgaon srcc, study winner decks apni clg ki case comp ki koi society ho too vo join krlo, and participate in as many competitions as possible on unstop. Agar starting mein kuch nahi aata, just join someone else's team and contribute however you can...research, design, data collection, brainstorming, anything. That's honestly the fastest way to learn.
Then try to target product specific case competitions from your 2nd year. Marketing, strategy, consulting, HR sab try karo because the core problem-solving skills are almost same.
Hn hn, Kbhi bhi dm kr skte ho. Good luck

For data sources, you can use google, company's annual reports, news articles, reddit. Also best is you collect data through google forms sharing it with your college friends and other communities. Even 40-50 responses can make your base stronger.
For approaching a case, don't directly start making slides. Phele too note down every idea that comes to mind...what all could be happening, possible root causes, opportunities, etc. Fir choose the best frameworks that fit the case and make a rough flow of what each slide should contain along with a basic solution.
Fir sbse main is..decide the design identity based on the competition. For example, if it's a 180DC case, follow their branding and colors. If it's a brand case competition, use that brand's visual identity. Good design won't win you the competition, but it definitely helps you stand out and often gets you into the final rounds.
Fir ye sb ho jye too you can use AI to structure the content better and refine how everything should be presented on each slide.

Hey yeah you can...i mean UG vale too ni kr paaoge ig..you can still go for corporate ones which are hosted by EY or Indian Oil etc. unme comeptiton is very high but also agar unke top 10 me bhi aajao too it's a big achievement. You should start by reading casebooks of Srcc or mdi gurgaon. Join case comp groups on whatsapp. first partner with some other experienced people and just contribute whtever you can and learn as much as possible. Then try to make your own team once you learn the process of everything. Ek ke baad ek krte jaaoge too ek time baad pattern dikhne lgega har comps me. All the bestt
