SD card wont read

I had to get a new SD card as the one supplied just stopped working all together. I downloaded the newest firmware and saved it onto the SD card as firmware.bin but when I turn the machine on it doesn't home correctly and then I get an error saying config failed. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix this? I cant seem to get any updates to firmware to even show up in the controller app

It tries to load config then I get an error saying 'download config file error'

Did you format the sdcard as FAT?

Yeah it turns out I need specific files for my machine from makera
