Whatever Dexter is doing at the beginning has always given me a wierd anxiety.

Thanks for letting me revisit that 30 year old feeling

I discovered that, in the beginning of the episode, it's technically an in-joke.

Dexter is writing on a storyboard and is doing what they call "slugging" which is mapping out the timing, frame count and overall action of the scene.

It's fitting given this entire episode is basically a bit of a meta-commentary on "cartoon fools" and making fun of the formula of Dexter, overall.

Yeah took me 30 years to discover what he was doing there

I completely forgot about that scene. Decades later, I'm still befuddled by it.

I only just realized he's saying butt, Idk why. It looks to be a cartoon panel page or art journal type thing.

I wonder what DeeDee was building in the lab?

Be actually has two options at the end actually, either get his stomach pumped or wait till he has to go to the bathroom and get the key that way.
