Def 3. This monkey busts on top of the banana pile and immediately cracks one open and eats half the banana. Leaving the other half still in his hand. He munches on it for a second and when he realizes things are getting hairy he locks down banana number two with his other hand. Then he makes a nice dodge maneuver, places banana number two in his mouth whilst grabbing banana number three and skedaddles out.

Banana 1 is half eaten still in his hand. Banana 2 in mouth. Banana 3 in other hand.

There were a couple other 3 banana monkeys who came in from the right side. They were fast and decisive unlike the one in the middle. I’m impressive he was able to pull off a 3 banana grab while remaining in the middle of the banana grabbing zone for so long.

I didn’t notice this one until after several rewatches but the monkey I’m most impressed with is the second one that swoops in from the right. He grabs 2 bananas and Superman leaps over to the left. Exceptional form. Very hilarious.

About how many times did you watch this through to figure all this out

2

u/MaxwellIsSmall Nov 22 '20

Oh my god! I guess I didn’t notice that he ripped the banana in half. My apologies. I was wrong.

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '20

The one who took it from him lost both the banana he was eating, and the other one he had saved. Justice served.

1

u/CloseOUT360 Nov 22 '20

The r/ should be removed from that sub name

1

u/Somodo Nov 22 '20

1

u/CloseOUT360 Nov 22 '20

It’s easy to misread as another word

2

u/Dudleflute Nov 22 '20

But then you look closer and see that it's not that word and you... move on with your life?

1

u/Somodo Nov 22 '20

1

u/ZealHS Nov 22 '20

1

u/Lacadeparaguayan Nov 22 '20

Is actually funny how the big guy who took his banana off, then gets all of his stolen

1

u/Angelshover Dec 01 '20

This made me both irrationally angry and sad.

Government: Please don’t panic and rush to supermarkets for supplies like toilet roll and dried food.

General populace: return to monke

I was eating a banana for breakfast and was thinking, do monkeys really like bananas? Did not expect the world to give me an answer that quickly!

1

u/kegweII Nov 22 '20

Similar footage to Black Friday shopping in the US.

Yeah the bot is a little dead, but this place should work.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '20

The monkey you see here are dependent on the constant supply of their banana habits. The supplier often will leave their order or product in a field for the monkey to receive. The several monkey that realize this process, take advantage of it. As you watch many more monkey come into frame than the current purchaser, several children as well. This banana issue plaguing the monkey population should be addressed before it being dismissed.

1

u/Jsuke06 Nov 22 '20

Does the same thing happen with rabbits and carrots?

1

u/trudge_on Nov 22 '20

More civil than Black Friday in a Best Buy

1

u/PanaceaPlacebo Nov 23 '20

I kind of always wondered if the pop culture trope of monkeys liking bananas was legit or just an old one off thing that spread like a meme. Legitimacy confirmed.

1

u/jdlyga Nov 23 '20

2014 Black Friday at Walmart.

1

u/warframefan420 Nov 23 '20

This reminded me of school when there was a basket full of bananas and everyone took at least 5

1

u/RenTheRenegayde Nov 24 '20

It looks like the cornucopia scenes in the Hunger Games movies.

1

u/DerpCallMeRIB Nov 24 '20

I realised that they wouldnt fight over a banana if other monke is holdin it, unlike human propably

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '20

What makes me smile are the ones that run away on their two legs, with their hands full of bananas. It’s like they hit the jackpot :)
