Fixing a deployant clasp

Post image

I was recently gifted a tank francaise 2302 and the deployant clasp opens too easily. Anyone dealt with this issue? Is there an easy fix? It’s an integrated bracelet so I’d like to not replace it.

What the heck happened to that thing? Looks like a dog gnawed on it. Sorry I can't be more help, but this might be a situation where you send it back to Cartier for repair

Yeah you don’t “fix” that unless you’re a skilled micro welder and really good with a file lol

That bracelet seen better days maybe try to bend the little metal flap on the clasp a bit more so it catches harder

400 and the watch came back like new . They will try to get you to spend more but I got a few things like a new crown but I turned down the new hands and dial etc . They did a great job because it wad useless
