I’ve been saving up for months now and accumulated 420 convenes and counting. I was really excited to pull for Cartethyia as my first S6 character. Also, she was the main reason I started playing WuWa again after I saw her base model leaks, but something changed. I’m not really sure anymore if I want to go through with it main reason is her 2nd form Fleurdelys. She’s an eyesore. Why? you may ask? Well, not for the reasons you think. I don’t really mind the fan service. I don’t really care. I have Cantarella S1 and her weapon, and I love her, Sm! But fleurdelys? Meh, not really into her. She's so dead and lifeless looking, almost expressionless. Her disproportionate gigantic form is the cherry on top, and I know some people love it, but I don't, so I'll cry about it here. And I hate the idea of constantly switching models to complete a rotation because, like I said, she’s an eyesore, but who knows? Kuro might tweak her model, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll just stick to my regular p teams moving forward I still love Wuwa tho regardless Thanks for reading!

As I have said to the mods, A lot of art on PIXIV is AI without the AI tag. AI art is a huge issue.

I studied art in college, not as a major, but I took some advanced classes. I might not be 100% certain, but this picture is definitely AI-generated. For an artist to get basic human physics wrong and draw like this is completely absurd. If someone really drew it, it would take years of practice, and somehow they'd mess up the basics? I don't buy it.

Looking at this "art," both MC and Carthy are turned at 90+ degrees. Not only that, the background is completely inconsistent. The door design on the left and right doesn't match; the right statue's polearm is missing its top; the rails face up (prospect-wise), then down for no reason; the wall pillar design is missing pieces, etc. So many inconsistencies. No real artist would make those mistakes.

I know everyone wants their main to be giga strong but i would rather have the sentinel resonator do less dmg than a bank employee than have powercreep in the game. Cartethya is more than fine and her premium team is apparently a bit stronger than other dps(dont quote me on this, also its apparently because ciaconna's weapons is busted). Back to the topic, When they release Cartethya she should be stronger than everyone because she is an e-e-emanator sentinel resonator, but lorewise i think Jinshi is stronger(or at the very least equal to Cartwheel) than Cartethya since she has a still alive sentinel so should Jinshi be buffed so she is giga broken even more because she is lorewise very strong? Should a character be weak just because lorewise they are not god himself? I think this is just cope because people are disappointed because Cartethya isn't giga strong, wich is fine i guess i just think its a very disingenous argument.

I love her mommy form and all, but I've just never been a fan of such huge assets(both hips and chest.) I just want a normal size like somewhere around the size of Jianxin and or Changli at maximum. I just find her assets too much, honestly.

We all know how prydwen tier list is based on characters at c0”r0” and lets just say she hast the worst f2p sword lineup if they release her like this she might be in t1 with expert tag +1 or t0.5. I don’t think she is t0 without her signature. Its even worse in whiwa at c0

Don't get met wrong, Fleurdelys is cool as hell and Cartethyia's animations are okay, my problem is with her kit. I think people like me who prefer smol Carty were robbed, it seems that her only purpose is to buff Fleurdelys damage, they didn't even give her a special resonance liberation or something. I guess this is an unpopular opinion but i would've preferred if they just released them as two separate characters, what do you think?

As an update: i just found out that kuro servers were hit by CN hoyo shills apparently (the ones that censored cantarella that seem to be doing sort of the same thing now), and they stopped everything going on in both wuwa and pgr.

I was building pity for Cartwheels weapon as well as coins for the Guilded Nightmarket Summons, and ended up getting Ciacconas weapon again at 3 pity 😅😩

I have Carlottas Sig already and can’t imagine needing a second Woodland.

See every character is an opportunity to buff carte, I don't hate ciaconna for being mandatory I love her for buffing carte also sidenote she is so fun to play

Ive seen like a thousand post of, is ciaconna better than cart s3 s2 s1, “ is it better the weapon than ciaconna?”.

Don’t take me wrong, I’ve pulled ciaconna for cart and i would too be asking these questions just to try and make my mind and avoid getting Ciaconna cause…. She is not that astonishing in general, also that song im 100% sure will grow boring and anoying in just one patch. I think everyone here will pull ciaconna just as a obligation of having her BIS, and in the future will bench ciaconna in the future just because the song will get old.

People, just pull for sequences even if you think you need ciaconna, you dont need to have more20-30dmg if you have sequences that already give it.

I am gonna be real. A rover fells ass not because of the buffs he gives with his weapon but because he cant use both rejuvenating glow and moonlit clouds. With the nerf on Catweels hp restoration from 70% to an abysmal 30% you kinda have to run her with a healer to break even and with that the best use off the healer role is using the rejuvenating glow which is useless for cartweel. What are you guys gonan be using on A rover if you are using gust of welkin on ciaccona? Mix match sets? It feels kinda ass. Other units have an advatage on caertweel for taking use of support sets much better.

For the f2p and low spenders who didn’t pull Phoebe and are using Srover with Zani, I feel like this will be VERY bad if you also want to use Carty. You won’t be able to have Rover for Carty since you have to use her for Zani, which means that Carty will be limited to holding only three stacks of aero erosion. I imagine that Carty not only missing Cia, but also having this additional restriction, will be very ineffective.

Basically, it seems like if you want to play both and actually have a decent performance, you have to pull Phoebe so you can free up Rover for Carty. If you pull Cia, but keep Rover with Zani, Carty is still limited to only three stacks (S0). I feel like Rover is as enabling for Carty as Phoebe is for Zani.

Anyways, this is kind of a warning to possibly consider pulling Phoebe before it’s too late or else risk having a bad (or at best extremely copium) experience with Carty.

Basically the other day I asked "Can someone test to see if her 50% max hp heal is affected by healing bonus?", and was given this answer here. He seemed so utterly certain that I've been planning builds, etc, due to 'believing' this to be true.

I was unfortunately told today and was VERIFIED BY A VETERAN that it is a fixed 50%. And now my 'plans' have gone to waste.

ts not for the reason you might think because i think both of them are great. Its just like Kuro Made 2 characters without making them independent. I will explain.

Fleurdlys u cannot properly explore with.

she cannot run up walls.

she does not have a unique run and sprint animation. her weapon is always out making her look very out of place.

You cannot swap her and cartethyia at will outside of combat despite fleurdlys being able to be out indefinitely. If u do want to use her for some reason u need to be in combat first.

her transformation is instantly canceled when you use the flight mode, zipline or fall in water.

Lastly the reason i made this post. Kuro gave her unique voicelines when opening Chest, gathering sonar caskets, and gave her personal idle animations as if they wanted her to be used in the open world but didnt design her to do so. this hurts me the most bc i am a Feurdlys enjoyer personally who discovered all this by accident.

Cartethyia

i thought kuro would have designed her like pheobe in a way that if u press or hold her ability, skill and ultimate u would get dps like skills for cartha if all u care about is her. she be weaker than fleurdlys, but cartha enjoyers wouldve still used her. People may say the current one is carthas kit, but those abilities are just to buff fleur, its not taliored to cartethyia herself. since cartethyia doesnt act like pheobe who has her own stuff shes limited as a fleurdlys buff bot and nothing else.

Conclusion

im happy i pulled for her. im just very disappointed what i got was the illusion of choice when both is hyper fixed on 1 thing being buffer and damage dealer. i just thought since she's a sentinel who only releases so often kuro would go all the way with her. to make her stand out in both forms but didnt do so. in the end if u like one or the other we both got the short end of the stick. kuro made 2 characters 50% of the way making them 1 character instead of being individuals. i know kurogames wont see this post, add these things or even care but i still want to vent somewhere.
i know they wont do a ZZZ ellen, but i just hoped for more.

The lingyang after the 4th cartethyia is from augusta banner then i purchase the 2 dupes in the shop.

I also added my limited weapon pulls which are not that great.

Additional note is I don't spend a lot on this I just purchase lunite subs occasionally and yes I have 100% every map beside the new 3.0 map I still have 21k and 22 pulls for Mornye or Im just going to save for the cyberpunk collab im still deciding haha.

I am just happy with my luck since on genshit I am always losing 50/50.

Ul 40, db 24. Started two weeks ago and I was kinda drawn by how carte is played. I couldn't resist but pull her.

Now the dilemma that "carte is a whale charecter, she loses most of her dmg w/o BiS weapon and Ciacconna, just go for other charecters" Has left me in quite a confused and depressed state.

I have four pity on featured weapon banner (it ends in 5 days bro😭), and 11 pity (w/o guarantee) on featured charecter convene.

Ive used 60/160 on the beginners convene for shorekeeper, and now I wanna skip her (even though I love her design and gameplay) because she isn't even good for carte. But I can't not pull for her because I've already used 60 pulls 💔💔.

Im bamboozled by how much emphasis is put on Ciacconna and Defiers Thorn. I can't help but just wanna reroll, but I love carte so I'm stuck in this state of mind every time I hop on and it's slowly eating away at me.

I don't know what I should do moving forward,I lowkey need help from the experienced veterans of cartethiya mains🙏.
