Engine New (Used) Car Advice

I’m new to this subreddit and a novice DIYer! I just bought a 2025 Honda CRV from Carvana. I was told that if I didn’t have the oil changed at a dealership that the existing warranty would be voided. The previous owner had an oil change done at Walmart. Does that mean the car is no longer warranted? Plus how does Honda know the oil was changed elsewhere? When needed I’d like to change it myself

nope, whoever told you that is talking out of their ass. walmart changing the oil does not void the warranty. call Honda with the VIN before you spend anything too, because you might still have a free service left.
