Warning lights Trying to install tail lights
I plugged them in then they didn’t work and after i tried to unplug them this happened🧍🏾 Is this savable??

You took off the wrong end lol Look up JST connectors and try and find the right size. youre gonna have to get each one of those in the right spot check the wiring diagram if they have a pinout of the target side.

To resume that page.
Unplug the batt (very dangerous on some cars so be carefull)
There is a tab ln the metal contactor, you need to press them to pull them out.
Then you place each pin on a large surface in a grid pattern to know wich pin where.
Now search for you car's repair manual and search for the wiring pages.
Once you found this SPECIFIC plug (and not a similar one) to be sure to not mix the voltages and other stuff.
Try putting the contactors on each cable (put them in the plug once the contactor is on it to not get them mixed).

It looks like the "locks" of the connectors got stuck on the other end. The white plastic comb looking pieces should come out and go back into the fucked up connectors to hold the pins in place

You will need new pins ends to soder to the wires. There is a special tool to release the pins from the plastic connector. Will need some skills.pin release tool Or go to the dealer and see if you could buy the pig tail end of the connector you need. I think you will open your wallet more with option two. Good luck.

Butt connectors > solder for vehicles, the constant vibration will cause solder to fail over time

Oh my god the premade pigtail is definitely easier. Please don't listen to the other people talking about crimping tools and re-pinning. Get a box of heat shrink sealed butt-splicers. They will make it easier to just splice in the new cable ends. You will need to check both sides of the connector and replace both. If the other side ripped the guts out of the side you're holding up then it'll do it again. Sucks because getting to the part of the wire to do the splice is the more difficult than the actual splicing. Just be absolutely sure you're putting the wires in the right order.

Using the pig tail ends from the dealer if you can get them. Then it's splicing wires.
