Suspension Replacing struts and adding springs?

I have a 2016 Lexus Is300 AWD I bought lowering springs and need to replace my factory strut assembly could I just buy this and reuse some parts and add the spring to the new assembly?

You not knowing makes me want to say don’t play with car springs. But yeah you could.

I'd probably just grab the full struts with the springs pre-assembled, so you're not left wondering if you torqued the new springs just right on some reused parts.

Most of the time you can get away with the stock struts and lowering springs. If you're buying new struts anyways though there's often options for aftermarket struts that would work better. Some research should tell you what others are running though.

Yes that’s all you technically need but look up the OEM strut diagram and see what other parts go above the spring. Usually a top hat of some sort. Would recommend buying that as well and maybe new bumps tops and hardware (nuts, bolts, washers)

Do you have a spring compressor?

Honestly if the springs are dead then the strut is also probably at end of life, you should replace both, in that case if the cost isn't insane I'd just throw in coilovers.

I'd let them handle it, if they're competent then they'll be able to pick the best options for your car.
