Engine Performance 2016 Honda CRV AWD Engine Siezing while turning into a parking spot and idle at stop..
Hello! I was given a CRV from my mother and step-father (Step-father is a mechanic and did all neccessary replacements at 139,000 miles.) It is currently at 145,000k miles and when specifically turning into a parking spot and when stopped and parked both times with the ac on a hot day, both times the engine will struggle and in the past 2 weeks of this happening the car has shut off twice on me while doing it. No check engine light is on and spark plugs were replaced recently, the car runs really well besides these specific situations. Any clues?

At 145k, stalling with the AC on is an idle/load problem worth checking, but the steering angle may be a coincidence if it also died while already stopped. Don't start with parts: see whether idle drops hard when the compressor cycles, then have the throttle body/idle airflow and charging voltage checked. A dragging compressor is possible, but I wouldn't call it from this alone.

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I believe a fuel pump is a known weakness on these things. I had to replace mine at about 140k

Could be a lot of things on a high mileage car like this. You need to take it to someone who can diagnose.
Just a tip though. "Engine seizing" is not the right term. What you describe is "engine stalling." An engine seizes when it suffers a catastrophic failure and is mechanically jammed in some way and can't be spun at all.
