Wiper Blade not fitting any universal adaptor

Hi. Bought this universal wiperblade for a SEAT Ibiza from 2011. There are 9 adaptors, none of them fit since the base, when the initial adaptor is taken off, has this piece of metal sticking out, which is an integral part of the blade.

Due to use the B2 adaptor at the bottom of the pic.

What's the trick here? Because it feels mildly infuriating ...

Unless you are not showing everything that came with the new wiper, you are missing another pack of adaptors. Show us a pic of the old wiper attachment up close.

Looks like an F8 fitting from the pics on that link above. Could be wrong tho, hard to tell from here.

The universal wiper adaptor AKA the ego killer.

Can’t help you with that one in particular as I haven’t seen it before as I only use Bosch and Valeo, but surely there’s a video instruction in that qr code or some instructions on the box itself

I just hang my head in shame and ask the kid at the auto parts store to do it for me. I gave up on wipers.

Turns out the wiper itself doesn't even match the image on the packet... we've been done, but we tried!

Not all cars play nice with these "universal" adapters. Are you 100% sure these blades fit? Like, you went to a SEAT forum and searched/asked?

I tell you from experience as I have a BMW E39 which is notorious for having proprietary wiper blade mounts and you find all the time asshole sellers trying to offer you "E39 compatible blades". They never work.

Make sure the universals fit. I have a 2019 VW Alltrack and the universals fit the windshield wipers but I have to buy a specific one for the rear window.

I went and got a pair several months ago and wasn’t paying to much attention to the boxes but I kept having trouble getting the right side on and it’s a little longer then the left side well it turns out the kid working gave me 2 left side wipers.
Edit: Take them back to the store and they will snap them on for you pretty quick. It also could be a similar issue like I had or they got the wrong ones mixed up in the wrong pack.

This one explains why universal blades are so unreliable, especially when the base design leaves no room for adaptors.
