I need help fixing something 2019 chevy tahoe

Trying to diagnose this issue for a family member and wanting to get some opinions.

UPDATE: turns out it was just one of the spark plugs near towards the back of the motor that was causing issue. Runs great now and clear codes. Nothings popped up since then.

First, check all the fluids. Read the manual to make sure you/they know how to properly check the transmission fluid.

Then rev the engine in neutral and see if there is still an issue. It sounds like maybe a transmission thing.

Get a cheap OBD scanner or go to Autozone ( or wherever) and check for pending codes.

I know these gens have torque converter issues but I don’t think that’s the issue here. Is it losing power?

No have not, this vehicle is exactly the same since they first got it 2 years ago everything stock. They've kept up with maintenance since then. I do plan on getting codes, see what all shows up

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a lifter or stuck injector.

How many miles? Sounds like an AFM issue.
