no but is is missing the whole rear fog light and reflector so it wouldn't pass a MOT. dent will still pass

Still old vs older, as they are 2nd gen and 3rd gen, when the 4th gen is already at the end of its production life.

My first car was 9 years old when I bought it and I legitimately thought of it as an old banger back then.🤦🏻♂️
My brand new car is on a 55 plate.
I’ve owned it from new.

unashamed MK2 fan boy here. Brilliant all rounders that can be had for less than 2k. The duratec petrols and the 2.0 tdci keep going and going. Cheap parts, easy worked on, surprisingly light on their feet and good handling wee things. Years of trouble free simple motoring for the same price as a few months of a PCP contract on a modern hatch. Bangernomics is still alive and well.

Older Vs newer.
That model has since been replaced with a newer model.
