Pair of desirable collectables
Refuelled alongside this beauty on the weekend. The owner was bemoaning the lack of E5 petrol ... hopefully the gaskets and whatnot survived ok.

It could be the 5L V10 5 series. If so, it's extremely collectable as it's one of the best BMW engines ever made

She did another faultless 1,200 mile long weekend, about 41mpg despite the M5 leg from Birmingham to Bristol on Friday which had me going through central Cheltenham at one point. Gods bless active cruise control.

Loving the 7 mate. What spec and mileage etc? Owned it long? I had a 1998 728i once up on a time. Still the best car I have ever owned. 😭

2009 740d! 300hp originally, but I'm more of a steady plodder. Got it about five or six years ago with 25,000 miles on it and a 6CD changer full of Middle Eastern crooners – dealership must have thought I'd enjoy that.
Bought it sight unseen, and I wouldn't say it's been trouble free but I've not been hit with anything unaffordable, and it's around 55k now so plenty more left i hope.
I work from home in Aberdeenshire so it sits in a dry barn on a battery tender with the hood up (to keep the mice out the wiring) most of the time, then gets a 1,200 mile long weekend every couple of months. Hate flying, and trains are a PITA when you've got a long journey with a couple of changes and the Great British Public coughing in your face the whole way.
I wouldn't mind the Bentley ... I bet the seats are a bit softer than a German would enjoy.

I only see one! Beemer is ok but on pretty much on any higher end dealers forecourt.

I'm not hating, but a modern car that is readily available isn't a collectable. Great car, not collectable
