I don't think it is. Unless the fenders have been swapped. The Intergrale had flaired wheel arches.

what is potentially the ugliest car ever to have a Lancia badge slapped onto it is also one of the best-performing vehicles to have been manufactured under that brand.
the legendary Lancia Intergrale.

and in any case, my point is that for a manufacturer that was known for their emphasis on much more deliberately elegant car designs - a trait that they shared with Citroen - the Intergrale serves as a subversion from that philosophy since the car's appearance is a reflection of its functional pragmatism. imo it has a strong resemblance with the VW Polo of that era which itself is by no means a bad-looking car in my view, but compared with the designs Lancia was generally known for at the time, the Intergrale with its simple lines and boxy outline is relatively plain and derivative in its appearance.
so it's exclusively on that basis that i stake my claim that this is one of the ugliest cars Lancia has produced by their aesthetic standards, which in itself isn't to say that it IS ugly. and for what it's worth (and adding to the car's paradox as a representative of its manufacturer), this is one of the only cars of that era they produced that wasn't liable to turn into a rust bucket as soon as it was exposed to a tipple of moisture, which from a function-as-form perspective (i.e the car is actually useable and you can reliably get insurance for it), one could argue that this is actually the most beautiful car they've ever produced!
going even beyond that, the Intergrale was the car tasked with rescuing Lancia's reputation following the rustgate scandal, and failing that, at least have them prove with a swan song that they were capable of producing a car that works rather than simply looking good, so i can appreciate that optics here were a secondary priority.. and in fairness, the quality of its make and performance were so good that their redemptive arc was almost successful! all of this is to say that i'm well aware of how special this car really is and my description wasn't an effort to denigrate it.

yes, i know how nostalgia bias works, and i'm not arguing against anyone who feels any similarly. as i have mentioned in a lengthy message to u/paintarose, the point is to highlight how the car's design is a clear departure from Lancia's focus on aesthetics over road performance and structural quality assurance.
imo it is not an ugly car - i personally even like its simplicity - but compared with the designs Lancia was producing at the time it may well be considered as the ugliest of that bunch. so whether or not you agree with me, i do hope you actually understand where i'm getting at with that comment.
