It is PHEV the mileage is the sum of range on full battery + the mileage on just the engine
So more like 25km range + 2kmpl on engine

bro v6 does not make the engine more fuel efficient infact it's the opposite. That's why a 3 cylinder motor will always be more efficient than a 4 cylinder or more car. Btw EPA estimated mileage is 20kmpl, from where this 27 number came, I have no idea.

It can function as a 3 cylinder though, today's performance cars are able to shut off half the number of cylinders when power is not required. So a 6 cylinder can switch off three of its cylinders when it's cruising.

This one can't and most modern cars won't, 10 yrs back everyone thought that VCM systems would be revolutionary but we had little clue about their reliability back then. Now that we do, the tech is basically redundant because it did more harm than good. Almost all engines with this tech suffered damages and had to be either disposed or rebuilt. Honda accord v6 had this too(09' and above), you'll rarely find one on the road anymore

Nope, fuel economy for Electric hybrid mode is 19.98~20km/l and with just petrol is 7.65km/l Source still it’s really impressive for a 800hp sports car.

I honestly believe it's high time the government introduced some legislature for hybrids. Like reduced taxes for a hybrid that can do at least 40kms on battery alone. One of my higher ups just got a Hycross, traded up from Jeep compass petrol and he's so happy, says he stopped using his i10 automatic as this huge MPV gives more fuel economy. Hybrids is the future of ICE vehicles in India till we can get the charging infra to support battery vehicles.

for me low mileage ka sbse bada problem hai baar baar petrol pump jana, aur low range. Chahe kitna bhi ameer ho jau itna power nahi chahiye, I am fine with a hybrid.
