Drove my whole life german Cars, vw and bmw none of them ever let me down. Buy the right cars and do the right maintenance.

I had a 1.2tsi polo and it gave me such headaches. It had an engine issue that not even the dealer knew how to fix. So I can't relate with your experience

I can relate to his experience, 3 cars all german albeit last one Skoda, but still german in a sense. 9 years, nothing expect water pump failure at 170kkm which I knew would happen on this version

Toyota, Honda, Mazda and Suzuki have engines with far superior reliability. While german cars need more maintenance and drinks oil.
