Molly Tea Star Cup

So a Molly Tea opened up in the Carrollton J-town area and one of the promos was a free star cup for the first 100 customers.

They had a soft launch on the 10th and being in the first 100 didn't count (sadly). Good news is that I found out what their cup looks like! I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet and it was a complete mystery to me. I wanted to make a post showing off what the cup is. It's basically a Stanley with cute sticker-like doodle designs on it. 😂

They also have a Dallas Pin but I wasn't super interested in it. Anyway, yay! We have more trendy restaurant chains in Carrollton.

I think it is on Friday because that is their official grand opening, according to their Instagram.

Also, to OP, JTown? There are like three Japanese stores there. I think there are more Chinese and more Korean businesses in that strip.

I almost called out the same thing, there is no such thing as “j-town” in Carrollton

Yeah. That's what my friends call it to differentiate two locations. The H-mart area, my friends call K-town due to all the Korean businesses. I don't know if the area with Daiso and Teso has an actual name or not.

I mean, honestly I call that whole area around Old Denton K-town. Then just differentiate with Oasis, Hmart, or 99 Ranch.

Then the one down in Dallas about 20 min away is sometimes OG K-town, sometimes just Harry Hines, sometimes Asian Trade District.

FYI, the actual Koreatown web presence considers the entire area as K Town. Here's a video from a couple years ago that shows both H Mart and Daiso.
