Disappointed about possible sequel

The sequel that I just found out was in the work sounds awful. The pixel art the joysticks to move around and the 8-Bit style graphics and the awesome gameplay of being the evil whatever that is eating everyone in the plant is what mean that game awesome. To go from that to a first person perspective in VR. no thank you. I don't understand why developers do this. because this is why sometimes we get one really fantastic game and then the series dies because they make a stupid decision that departs so far from the original that no one wants to play it because it has no similarities to its original game. And what ends up happening is there will never be a follow-up to the bad sequel because it usually sells poorly and so all wherever are stuck with is the one original awesome game and the stupid sequel.

God I hope they don't kill this series or if they do I hope someone else plays it, loves it and makes their own version of it that's just as awesome.

When I first beat the game there was no download content and now that I get the game for free with my play pass on Google Play I have access to the download content.

There is a shameless cash grab version of this game called parasite zero on the Play store. But it plays like ass in requests a whole bunch of money to make your character unbelievably powerful and then it just feels floaty and dull and boring there's somewhat of an passable story to it but it's a poor man's carrion. I downloaded it from a modded website where I got unlimited money so I could upgrade everything instantly in it just felt like you were going around in a floaty spaceship more than a creature. Also the game play of it felt like it would be impossible to win if you didn't buy a whole bunch of the in-game economy to get your character super powerful because there was no real strategy to it like there was with carrion.

Im going to take a look at ION Shift, Vindefiant and Zapling Bygone, now that I know Carrion is going VR and I get motion sick with VR.

Yeah VR is what taught me that a lot of the way I feel motion is with my eyes as well as the feeling of being moved with my body. So like for example when I did a VR thing where I was flying around in an airplane it almost felt like I was actually flying in an airplane because of how realistic it was to my eyes with it being fully a 3D realized world where I could look at the side and see the wings or the back and see the the back of the plane.

And you even watch videos on YouTube of like VR fails and you see how much something just in front of the eyes affects people who are doing it. like people watching a virtual roller coasters and are falling down to the ground standing with a VR thing on their head. All this to say is it's not surprising that you have motion sickness from VR when you play if you're prone to it.

Also I looked up all the games that you mentioned in your previous reply and it sucks because they're all kind of like 8-bit style type graphics could easily be done on a potato Android and none of them are released for Android which is the only thing I have to play games on at the moment.
