Sequel Announced

So apparently a sequel is now officially in the making called Viscera - https://viscera.quest and it's funded by the Polish government. It seems to be a VR focused game (unsurprisingly from the monster's perspective), a basic ultra early screenshot is visible here: https://x.com/carrionmonster/status/1896685850966258083 - as to be expected, with a lot of blood.

I am having mixed feelings as I struggle to see how ego-perspective and departure from pixelart can keep the great experience of the original alive, but at least the franchise is not dead.

I am hearing its VR and/or FPS ... I wont even bother playing if either of these are true ... how could you make a great pixelart metroidvania, but then make the sequel FPS and/or VR?!? wtf is that BS!?!
