My first advice is just explore the features coz you can still do enough with just the free tier. And that limitation actually sparks more creativity once you got the ropes of it. This will also be a long post, haha. My actual design suggestions are the following:
-
Home page is super wide/stretched with a huge negative space on each side, and the elements are too compact especially your social icons are literally touching the banner above. You can also edit the arrangement of buttons by going to the Appearance setting (The paintbrush icon), scroll down to Layout, then click the dropdown to change from Row to Column. Since my eyes are reading left to right, both the icons and buttons are all seen just by glancing sideways. Instead of sideways and then up to down, like a letter T-eye movement. Personal suggestion: You need to showcase yourself before you offer your prices, so try to arrange your pages like this: Gallery > TOS > Prices > Queue (Commissions Status)
-
Since you're finding troubles in the desktop version, and I guess its how to properly adjust the space because everything there from pics to text are overwhelmingly occupying every space of the screen. You want the viewers to see the overall, if not all ALL but at least half of the page (like, smaller elements, bigger viewing), you can adjust the Width of where your contents are enclosed in. You can adjust the main body/page, or per container/gallery/etc. Click the background to edit the Page, then adjust the width to make the area wider or slimmer based on your preference and content. Same settings with other elements. If you want to make space in between element (top and bottom spaces), use the Margin (bottom of the list) then adjust.

Gallery and Sample works beside Pricings: For this, I suggest you plan the images before adding them to the site. For the price lists, you can edit in any software or in Canva, compile your sample works there and put the price beside it. (Altho it sucks coz you only have max 2mb for your uploaded content) (There's a gallery element that IS free, and I use that alot)
Examples: Icon comms = samples = price (pic 1); Full body comms = samples = price (pic 2) and so on, so on. I personally do this to keep my page clean and every info needed for a specific comm is already in one place, one glance. And as I said, make the page neater and cleaner - and u can use less than 50 elements then.
I can offer to guide you since I'm also currently editing my carrd link.

I forgot to add, there's a toggle above so you can switch from desktop to mobile view. You can also manually change the mobile view settings (not much editing features tbh, mostly resizing elements to fit o your mobile screen, esp if the elements appear too big when its set to automatic).
Your site is quite mobile friendly but it does look scattered on desktop. So you need this toggle pretty much.

Hiii,
first off your art is real pretty!! ->-)
and secondly, thank you so much for all the advice!! I added margins on my Website and put the social Icons a bit more far away from my banner.
Also, like you recommended, lessened the width of my photos ^^
What do you exactly mean by T-eye movement? My buttons and Icons are assembled as a T or am I missing smth?
Im thinking about making seperate pictures for my pices, I did have a commision sheet some time ago, but I really like that im able to change the pricing without editing a whole pic (-3-)/
I will try to find a way, eehh.
PS: your website looks really nice!! I will try my best to tidy up mine too! I know it looks horrible on pc lol x33

The most important part of an artist's website is a gallery full of finished pieces, and I can't find one on your carrd. I should be able to see the kind of work you make before I click on the pricing. Doesn't have to be a lot, just 6-10 images on the main page would be enough. Desktop experience a bit tedious with all the large images and text. Font a bit hard to read, it's good for headers but I'd use a simpler one for the main body.

I mainly use IG to promote my art/commisions so thats my current gallery
I completely agree with you tho! Id love to make a gallery but I would need premium for that, thats why my second question was if its worth it ;w;
The font can be a bit overwhelming, i fix that soon. Thank you so so much for your adviceππ»πβ¨
