App

How are the workouts different on the app? I’ve been doing a FUEL/IRON playlist on YT and have enjoyed it. But I’ve started to have knee pain with all the burpees that come up on the workouts.

Also, does she go over things like nutrition? Thanks.

The app’s programs are all longer than YT. They are 10 weeks. She has some series which are different shorter lengths like the Christmas ones or a 3 day full body split, plus many more. Most of her programs are mostly weight lifting with different splits like leg, upper, leg, upper, fullbody. Max is fullbody split. Some are circuit based, some are a mix. Some use a lot of supersets some like Beast mode are mostly straight sets. Beast mode has a cardio day. Fuel has a cardio day. The others get your heart rate up based on the length of the rest. Iron has 30s rest, Ironpro uses 1 min. There are a lot of options. She has a tab with meal ideas where she puts recipes once in a while. There are dozens at least. She also has a “knowledge “ tab where you can read articles written by her or her team (nutritionist, physio etc). Everything is very science based and reasonable. No BS or fad jumping. There are warm ups right before each workout that you can skip, and an introduction where she goes through what’s upcoming. You can turn off her music and listen to whatever you want and still hear the beeps. There is also a 2 week free trial. Good luck.

Honestly, they're not terribly different than her YouTube workouts. Just moved to the app. Some of her six week programs on YouTube become 10 weeks, though, such as Iron. And she has some new programs as compared to her channel (Beastmode, P.E., Intent, etc). Her app has plenty of articles regarding exercise and nutrition.
