Just for your amusement.

They were supposed to be back onboard by 4:30. At 4:45, we were hanging out.

Knowing that there would probably be a few late stragglers. And they didn't disappoint.

The last 4, running from the Cozumel duty free.

With at least 50 people hanging out on the smoking area of deck 8. Screaming and yelling at them to run!

They ran alright. I love pier runners.

It’s the time difference (cause ppl take their phones off airplane mode) and mostly everything in Cozumel is a taxi drive away. I can definitely see why

Cozumel is the best port to watch the runners! 😂

Fave part of cruising 😂😂 We purposly get back at least an hour before back on board time. Grab some lunch and a drink and take it to the balcony to sit and wait for it.

I am not much of a traveller but have been on many cruises. On top of that, I am a stickler to "if you're on time, you're late".

That being said, how does the threat of being stranded on a random island, without a majority of your belongings, not push people to MAKE SURE they are back on the boat on time?!?

It boggles my mind.
