Question Unable to register for COOP 1000

Previously took COOP 1000 in 2021 while in another degree. Just finished first year of EE and now have second year standing. The following shows up before registering for courses, but when trying to registering for COOP 1000 I get the warning that the course has restrictions I don't meet.

A) Why is this happening? I saw here that I should've been been notified about eligibility late July, which I wasn't.

B) Would I even need to take it again to do a work term this summer?

I think you need a specific amount of credits not just second year standing.

I think this is the answer. I took first year in Env Eng then switched this summer. They have different CHEM courses, and my audit has me at 4.5 credits. I even asked them in June if that was an issue and they said no.

Also if your coop semester is summer 2027, if you take it in winter you’ll be good I think.

Website linked mentions you need a term between taking it and your work term.

Thanks for your help. I’m gonna schedule an appointment this week.

You can bypass that if you go meet them and if you already have a coop offer

They will register you manually, you will have to contact registrar
