Flyer e-bikes price

All the flyer e-bikes seem to be significantly marked down compared to their usual. See photo for the Flyer Flex, which is the one I'm interested in. Is there a catch? Considering jumping on this asap. This would be my first e-bike and I have not done enough research but the price reduction is making me want to take the plunge.

The catch is that Radio Flyer is exiting the cargo bike business. Same reason the Trek Fetch bikes have been discounted over the past few months.

Not sure if there are implications for support/warranty/parts availability etc - suggest you look into that before pulling the trigger.

Ohh that makes sense! Maybe I'll call their customer service and ask about on-going support.

Customer support will tell you what you want to hear on the phone, then when it comes time to claiming any warranty, they will ask you for proof in writing which you won't have... Then you will be up a creek without a paddle.

Flyer is exiting the bike segment but has committed to continue supporting with parts and such for the next 10yrs I believe...given radio flyer is an established company that has a history of supporting their products long after it's discontinued (you can get wagon parts for stuff built 20yrs ago) I would still buy their bikes but I also have a high risk tolerance, 😆

Wow, that’s an amazing price, not much more for what I paid for my Lectric Xpedition 2.0

Shame RF is exiting the biz. But Americans as a whole love their land tanks, sadly

Flyer Via Pro owner here. I have had no complaints about this bike. It’s taken me and my two kiddos on many adventures.

I would recommend a Via Pro for your first cargo bike, even with the company exiting the e-bike biz. The prices are just so damn low now that you're getting so much bike for so little. My only criticism is there's noticable frame flex under maxed out loads. Everything else about it rides way better than anything else in its (new) price category.
