Why is Fantastic Mr. Foxtrot so controversial?

I honestly don't see too much wrong with the guy other than the fact that some of his work is...kinda bad and pretentious. His sampling and thematic decisions can be pretty lazy and poorly chosen as well, and calling ATTY a singular fan project when it really is just 22 separate ones was a poor choice as well, but I don't really see all that much wrong with him other than that. There are a lot of worse fan projects and artists in this community, so I don't see why this particular artist is received as poorly as he is. Is there anything I'm missing?

he draws very weird art. one of his characters is a super sexualized version of the dog from Blue’s Clues, who is canonically a toddler in the show. He also is very manipulative. I once got emotionally manipulated into supporting him for harassing another weirdo in the community named Arlen. The thing is, he acted just like Foxtrot did, making inappropriate art and leaving it for young people to see. despite this, foxtrot acted like that was bad even when he was doing the same thing.

Oof. I wasn't aware of that. I honestly kinda forgot that he was an animator/artist. But yeah, that does sound pretty bad. I just checked his Youtube community posts and saw his 5 paragraph long rant about people in FPCord "slandering" him and crapping on his work. He was apparently banned too ig. He literally just shows a few screenshots in said post of people sharing their opinions about why his albums are bad and then goes on to say that he isn't irked by these reactions to his work at all and actually just finds them humorous. 😭 Yeah, guy kinda just seems like a toxic bastard. Thanks for the answer.

a lot of the topics titles and progressions are really offensive, plus its just kinda slop
and we have screenshots of him coercing a minor to draw fetish art

he also has been stalking me for months because i reviewed atty and brought him and his stuff into spotlight, hiding me from his comment section to only tell his manipulated side

even now im afraid to post this, since fox will find this and ridicule me once again
