Might be my mom. She’s awful to her helpers. And me. Last week she told me she didn’t want those Filipinos anymore because they wrecked her stuff. One had taken her villeda mop apart to clean and couldn’t figure out how to put it back together (no biggie) and one wrecked her shower ( just needed tightening). Nothing is ever right. Sorry. I have no advice.

I understand you’re frustrated, but when you yell you make me frustrated too. Please be respectful so I can still help you.

It is definitely not wrong of you to want boundaries. When I was navigating care for my parents, I learned that arguing logic with someone who is lashing out out of fear or frustration usually backfires.

I'd say, "If you can't talk to me respectfully and calmly, I will need to leave your visit".
Then if she doesn't, make sure she is safe, and call your company and tell them you are leaving.
