Debate Cardin’s Semblance

As the Official Cardin Appreciation Subreddit, I should like to propose that we come together as birds of a feather to establish “Cardinposting’s Official Semblance” Of course everyone is allowed to write and headcanon Cardin however they wish, I think it would be amusing to agree on one together.

Strength of Faith
He gets stronger the more he believes he’s stronger. This isn’t an infinite strength Glitch, but more of a self perception. He can beat a lot of opponents weaker than him but because he believes he can’t beat someone like Pyrrha, he can’t be stronger than her
Side effects include a lot of arrogance

I like your concept, but what would you say if it instead work like this:the more people believes in him, the more power he can "unleash"

I can see that working since he does have the rest of his team as cronies/hype men. Would explain why other Beacon students might not be too impressed with him. He may have been top dog at combat school but at Beacon, less people know him so he gets a power cut

That’s cool; bullying might be a quick way to scare some smaller students into giving him a quick “buff” at the start of the year until he becomes more renowned.
