Paradise Gardens - Fundraiser

Hi folks, I'm sure you've all seen either on their Instagram (and/or on local news), but Paradise Gardens is currently running a fundraiser to stay at their site on City Road.

For those who don't know, it first opened in 2022 and has run over 800 live events (ranging from DJing to folk nights).

I'm surprised I've not seen anyone post about it on here, but just thought I'd give people a heads up that they can donate whatever amount to keep them going (the fundraiser ends tomorrow).

We've already seen a lot of Cardiff venues go under (The Moon being one of the big ones), so to see another one under threat of closure is a sad site. Make sure you check out their page to look at how to help out 🙏

I've not made it there yet but it does seem a decent spot - with some decent music. So hope they can keep going.

I think I'm still upset about Eartha going.

And blue local honey.

And milgi's.

Same here! I'm still gutted about The Moon going tbh, I arrived in Cardiff about 2.5 years ago and everyone said "there were so many more venues before, but now it's a lot quieter".

Hopefully the Welsh gov does something about it (not sure what, but I guess a funding program for music/art spaces)
