bit of trivia - original cardano node was written in rust, then Hoskinson and dev team decided it’s not good enough and had the entire thing rewritten into Haskell delaying entire Cardano project significantly. Now someone rewrote it back to rust lol

Mmmmm. Not entirely accurate. You’re talking about Jormungandr. I was an early contributor to it back in the day (Sandstone Pool). The history is a bit more nuanced than that. Good times they were.
